What is rugby?

Rugby is a contact sport

During a rugby game, each team has 15 players on the pitch

The ball can only be passed backward but can also be kicked forwards. The team works together to progress the ball down the field to reach the "try zone"

Points are scored when the ball is placed in the opposing team's try zone, or when the ball is kicked between the two goal posts

While on defense, the objective is to prevent the opposing team from scoring. This is done by tackling their team's ball carrier in an attempt to push them back

High school level games are 70 minutes with halftime
