The Brookline Girls Rugby Team was founded in 2021 after multiple years of effort by committed players. In the spring of 2021, we did not have a full season, but we played in a state wide tournament. 

In 2022, we finally had enough players to create a full-fledged rugby team. In our first full season, we made it to the State Semi-Finals. We also won the state's best sportsmanship award. 

This team is built on the foundation of a strong community. While we all love to win, our focus is on sportsmanship, team love, empowerment, and mental and physical strength. On this team we support ourselves, and each other to create powerful women.
